About this book
The Streaker, a spaceship crewed by dolphins, with a few human officers, discovers an ancient fleet that may belong to the Progenitors, the legendary first race. Every other species in the galaxy wants to know what the crew found, and the ship is chased across space until it crashes on the ocean world of Kithrup.
With the fleets of rival species fighting overhead, the crew must repair the ship and survive their own divisions. The second book in David Brin's Uplift series, winner of the Hugo and Nebula awards.
